Iasha is joined in the studio this week by regulars Matt and Alex along with new voice, Nick Tatchell. Nick works with us at Blackshaw and is our responsible for the funding and partnership aspects of the theatre company.
At the top of the show Matt reviews partly crowd-funded independent film Nina Forever and we discussed what's coming up in the next film review. Get over to twitter and tweet us your suggestions!
Vikki gave us her first Arts Thing of the Week, this week, multiple arts things and we discussed what we're all looking forward to the most for 2016.
(seeing) Black Shuck is Blackshaw's next production coming up in May. Alex is going to be performing in this new piece of writing and we chatted about what the play is about and also a very windy photo shoot that took place last weekend on the shores of Whitstable in Kent.

This week on the show Iasha is joined by Matt who reviews Deadpool and we talk about a new twitter feed that popped up this week called @femscriptintros.
We listened to a live recording from a Blackshaw New Writing Night last year call ed Trick or Treat and also urged any of you with a half finished (or finished) play out there to submit it to our Showcase New Writing night coming up at the end of March. Get your submissions in here!
Helen brought us this weeks Arts Thing of the Week in the absence of Vikki. She spoke about the proposed 'Garden Bridge' and in turn the inconsistencies and bureaucracy surrounding funding for the arts across the country.

This week on the show Iasha is joined in the studio by Matt and Helen. Matt kicks things off with a review of Creed and then we discuss Oscar nominations. Iasha talks about The Revenant and we discuss the next film review coming up in a fortnight.
As this is the first live show of 2016 for The Blackshaw Arts Hour, Helen takes
us through an Arts Thing of the Year. We talk about all the amazing things
coming up this year from theatre at The National to exhibitions and cabaret.

We heard a new writing night piece written by Kat Roberts called Age UK
performed at one of Blackshaw's New Writing Nights last year.

This week on the show we are hearing from Matt and Vikki who are bringing us another retro movie review, this time looking at Oldboy.
Iasha plays one of the spooky stories we couldn’t fir into our live recording of the Scare Slam last year. Alison Cuff is the storyteller and we’d like to thank her for being involved and scaring us with her spooky tale.
Helen went to see Derren Brown and gives us an insight into her feeling about Derren and the show itself (without giving too much away of course!)
Iasha plays her favourite Arts Thing of the Week from 2016 which was Vikki talking about the gender age gap in film and theatre.
